Game of Thrones‘ final 2 seasons are shorter than usual but we’re getting almost as much content as the previous installments of the show in season 7 and probably in season 8 as well. At the recently concluded Con of Thrones, sound designer Paula Fairfield told the audience that all the six episodes of the final season could be feature length i.e. 80 minutes or longer.
Fairfield just said the Season 7 finale of GAME OF THRONES will be 82 mins. Final season they're considering making each ep feature length!

This could make the entirety of season eight have a runtime of about 8-9 hours, which is almost as long as the full season of Game of Thrones. We already know that the upcoming season is clocked at 7 hours 22 minutes with finale being the longest episode till date (82 minutes). To know the runtimes of all season 7 episodes, click here.
