** Spoilers and speculation ahead **

The Hound’s comeback was one of the most important moments from the last episode of Game of Thrones season 6. We also saw a group who hasn’t been on screen since season 3 -The Brotherhood Without Banners and its three members rode into Sandor Clegane’s rehabilitation camp, asked a few questions and gave a menacing warning before leaving. Then we saw the entire camp murdered offscreen and it was quite obvious who was behind this atrocious crime.

Jóhannes Haukur played the role of riders’ leader and has confirmed two things- He will be back for episode 8 and his character is none other than Lem Lemoncloak, one of the most ferocious members of the Brotherhood in the books.

Lem’s debut on Game of Thrones is not only exciting on its own but his appearance could also be a foreshadowing. One of the key aspects in Lem’s storyline from the books is that he remains loyal to the Brotherhood after the group has a new leader in Lady Stoneheart- the resurrected Catelyn Stark. Haukur also tweeted this link with a photo of Catelyn which teases the appearance of Stoneheart this season.

** Major Spoiler Ahead **

Unless a certain cast member is lying, this theory almost confirms Lady Stoneheart’s appearance in season 6.  You can read about it here.
