** Warning: The following article contains a MAJOR spoiler from Game of Thrones season 6 **

lady stoneheartLady Stoneheart, the resurrected form of Catelyn Stark may appear in Game of Thrones season 6. Why do we think that she may return? Well, thanks to a recent ‘Two Truths and a Lie’ game played by the Stark sisters and a major season 6 spoiler which helped us eliminate the lies, we have a very good reason to believe that Lady Stoneheart may appear this season.

Two Truths and a Lie is a game where you have to give away two truths and a lie without revealing which is which. Robert Chan of Yahoo! played this game with Game of Thrones cast asking them to reveal two truths and one lie about season 6.

Here’s Sophie Turner (Sansa):

Ramsay dies.
Lady Stoneheart returns.
Arya checks three people off her list.

Maisie Williams (Arya) says:

Arya goes to Westeros, back over the sea.
Arya is in the trailer more times than people have realized, because they don’t realize it’s her.
Arya doesn’t cross any more names off her list.

Major season 6 spoiler ahead. You have been warned!

So we have four truths and two lies. A major plot leak in a deleted Reddit thread has confirmed that Ramsay will NOT die this season. We will not reveal any more details but so far everything that was revealed in that thread has come true.

So this probably means Lady Stoneheart will return this season and Arya will check three people off her list. This also eliminates Williams’ lie and therefore Arya should head back to Westeros and wear faces of known characters.

There are two ways to look at this now. Walder frey returned in last episode and we could see Arya wearing Catelyn’s face, if and when she kills him. However, there is also a chance that we will see the actual Lady Stoneheart. Brotherhood Without Banners and Thoros of Myr will return this season and this is the group she leads in the books. Bran’s flashbacks have also included Red Wedding which hint that the Starks will get some sort of redemption for that massacre in season 3.

Game of Thrones director Alex Graves had said that Lady Stoneheart didn’t appear in season 4 because her story didn’t fit in at that time but this was probably done to increase the shock value of Jon Snow’s resurrection. Now that he’s back, it might not be a bad idea to bring back Catelyn as well. So brace yourselves, Lady Stoneheart is coming (maybe).

  1. Except, fucking Ramsay did died this season, so I guess that leak is bullshit, and probably Lady Stoneheart too.
