First Episode Of Season 6 Is Titled ‘The Red Woman’ And Here’s The Official Synopsis

the red woman season 6 episode 1 titleHBO has released the title and synopsis for first episode of Game of Thrones season 6. The episode is titled ‘The Red Woman’ and here’s the official synopsis:

“Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again.”

So Jon Snow is dead, as we have been told a million times by now. The title certainly adds fuel to the ‘resurrection by Melisandre’ theory but it’s better to take it with a grain of salt, especially when Carice van Houten herself has debunked this speculation. Also, Game of Thrones has cast another red priestess for season 6 and her storyline is rumored to be set in Meereen. There’s a good chance that the episode title refers to her introduction. The network has also released a summary for the upcoming season:

“Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys’ near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation in the streets of King’s Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates,” it reads. “Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while new characters will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south.”

    1. I don’t see any reason why he would be a deaneres, but there is plenty of evidence of him being a Targaryen

      1. eh, yeah, just testing your knowledge… But offcourse that is what I meant..

    2. No. Remember Jon was badly burned by the lamp that he used to destroy the wight at Castle Black. If he’s Targ (!), then he’s like Viserys, cannot take the heat.

      1. Maybe hes not a true Targ yet
he might need to take a leap of faith
even Dany had to do the same
        Viserys failed his

      2. No Targaryen is immune to fire– not even Danny. They are resistant to heat at the most— this is more apparent in the books. Many targaryens died of fire in the past— tragedy at Summerhall killed King Aegon, etc. GRMM says what happened to Dany in the pyre was a one-time, miraculous event of blood magic & was an improbable miracle.

Jon is NOT immune to fire— his body WOULD burn— and this is NOT how he will be resurrected. It’s very clear by the teasers, already, that Davos & other nights watch men are protecting Jon’s body from being burned. Normally, his body would have been burned immediately after death and many wondered how they would avoid this. People theorized that somehow Davos / Mellisandre would capture & protect the body, and this is exactly what we are seeing in the trailers

      3. No. Dany was immune to scalding hot bath water, and the roasting eggs didn’t leave a mark, yet burned her servant girl. Jon was badly burned, period. They’ve left all of Jon’s book powers out of the show, so introducing them after he’s dead is BS / won;t happen. He’ll come back another way.

      4. true I just did a few re runs of season 1 and 2
I guess theres a way and Davos etc are trying to salvage his body to help
