Irish actor Liam Cunningham, who plays the role of Ser Davos Seaworth in Game of Thrones, said that fans can expect a lot more violence in the upcoming season of the show:
“We just finished filming at the end of December. I’ve seen a bit of it and it’s looking really good. It’s bigger, badder, bolder and naughtier. It’s probably more violent, so there will be magnificent drama.”
“Unfortunately, what that difference entails I can’t say.”
**Speculation and Spoilers Ahead**
At the end of A Dance with Dragons, Davos was headed to the infamous island of Skagos to retrieve Rickon. In the show, Bran asked Rickon to go to Last Hearth, the seat of House Umber and there have been reports which suggest that the Umbers have allied with the Boltons. Therefore, it is possible that Davos’ storyline in Season 6 will see him heading to Last Hearth in an attempt to rescue Rickon.
