Since the season finale of Game of Thrones last year, fans have been debating about the fate of Jon Snow. With all the leaks of Kit Harington filming Season 6 and HBO still using his face in both the poster and the teaser of the upcoming season and paying too much attention to his dead body in the trailer, it is a given that Jon Snow will indeed make a comeback after being stabbed by the men of Night’s Watch in the final moments of season 5.
The cast of the show, however, has continuously maintained that Jon Snow is very much dead and Harington recently told Digital Spy that fans of the show must ‘get used to’ the fact that Ned Stark’s bastard is no more.
“People didn’t want me to die, but he’s dead. So there you go, everyone has to get used to it.”
The actor also spoke about how he deals with the repeated questions regarding Jon Snow’s revival and whether he likes it or not.
“I’ve just hit the ground, and gone undercover. I’ve tried to do absolutely no press for anything. It’s brilliant, the fact that people care about this TV show and what happens to the people they love or hate in it, is a special thing. I’ve got nothing to complain about, put it that way. If they care about it and I get asked about it a lot, it means that people hold it dear to their hearts and it’s doing what it meant to.”
Harington was also interviewed by BBC recently where he gave a very similar interview. You can watch the video below.
